Description

The African unity expressed in this day,
Sadly, is not the same in living color of today

Hate against a continental brother or sister is sad
Some inflate with love, but some spread cold tad

If I don’t come with love, division is an agenda for me
Sadly, no one ever wins alone in a world of self-made

The glory is in individualism and not in unity
The backdrop of Africa was inseparability

A unity that was inseparable was conquered by slavery
A mind divided from humanity is enchained in misery

No wonder it takes only one man to bring all to a fall
No wonder we still allow the same people to decide all

We are yet to learn that manmade ideas are not ours
We are yet to free ourselves from inflating men’s mistakes

Ours is not to mind the land from each other
But to protect each other and love one another

Mentality needs to be reestablished, not with old roots
But we need to plant our seeds in springs of new pots
