Starting a PhD in February 2022 meant for our radio guest Lev Azarkh that he got out of Ukraine just before the Russian troop approached in on his home town Kyiv. Now that winter is kicking in and Putin's forces relentlessly bomb the citiy infrastructures, we chat with him about December in Eindhoven and back home. What does Christmas mean for him, how is celebrated in his home country?
