On 6 December the STREAM Festival Network brought their creative & science workshops to theWinter Market Eindhoven at Muziekgebouw. Vlad Niculescu-Dinca, festival coordinator, explains the close relation between Science, Technology (STEM) and Art.
Through various workshops at this winter edition and throughout the year, the team helps children get creative and stay curious about the world.
The STREAM Festival is a young, community-driven, international science festival for children. It aims to promote both S.T.E.M. disciplines as well as Arts, Reading and more generally literacy and creativity skills. The event is open to all, Dutch and internationals, promoting mutual discovery and conviviality. The festival is coordinated by the Stichting Romanian School Eindhoven and the workshops are offered by a generous group of Dutch and international scientists, artists, teachers, engineers and students from the various international communities and heritage language education programs in The Netherlands.
