What can I say about this movie? First, I think it was well done, and Ana De Aramas was fantastic. She portrayed Marilyn in such a powerful way. The film told a story about a girl who grew up with a mentally ill mother, who battled her demons from abandonment to being unloved to being insecure. It portrayed a famous actress who had everything anyone could want. But honestly, when your mind goes, everything goes. One of the biggest takeaways from this film is that you never genuinely know someone's backstory or what motivates them to do the things they have done. And yet, as a society, we judge people for choices they made in their past. She did very well for someone like MM, who had no parents and grew up in an orphanage. Regardless of what she did to get there. Secondly, money is not everything, inner peace and healing turmoil are.
