Talking about feminism and being a black feminist, what does it mean? As a black woman and a feminist, I feel almost in the middle of the argument. Why? I am a feminist. I believe in equality for women; I think our body is our right. But I also, as a black woman, sometimes feel like white feminist women use this as their right to pretend that they know about the black cause. So I think it is essential o educate yourself cross-culturally, but I also believe it is necessary to respect avenues you are just learning about.

I find this especially true when we speak about diversity. When discussing diversity, some people believe that a group of white people who sit in power positions can tell other people about variety. When that is inaccurate, if you want to talk about diversity, your brand should be a diversified brand that people can visually see.
