Ya I am done with that energy! Let’s chat about people thinking that they are ultimately better than you. And let me remind you, the person who believes that is usually way worse than you. You probably don’t have time for those thoughts because you are drinking water and minding your business.
There is nothing worse than a clown hopping out of their clown car and speaking down to you. The enlightened part of me wants to say, “the reflection of the hurtful things they say is said because they are unhappy with life.” But the super hood side wants me to tell you that’s only partially true.
Yes, they are disempowered, but they also want power, and they see you as powerful, so they want to tap in. Seriously, haven’t you noticed someone broke and miserable, but somehow they find themselves positioned in other people's lives advising and directing. However, people with actual lives don’t dictate other people's lives.
I believe that disempowered people are so disconnected they don’t even know how crazy they sound. And because they have no power, they maximize their superpower of manipulation, making you and I feel as though they are all-knowing and we are to fall in line. Simply by making you feel like something is wrong with you or suggesting they would like you more if… This is common in relationships, and when you want someone, you overlook the obvious red flag, or maybe you are in a transitional phase, so you don’t even notice it. People take it to their advantage, and they make it seem like you need their validation. And the day you don’t do what they say, they take shots.
