Sandpaper is used to make things soft, it is used to smooth things over. But it is also used to form and shape, it is used to sharpen and object visually so you can see the curves.
Why did I use this? Sandpaper I would liek to use to symbolize peace which when you have peace you have the ability to have form, you have the ability to be smoothe.... Listen and see if you can connect
