Born and raised in the twin-island republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Mitchell moved to the United States to pursue higher education. She attended John Jay College of Criminal Justice in NYC where she obtained a Bachelors degree in Forensic Toxicology and later received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Florida A&M University. Her passion for serving the underserved led her to start her company called RxRounds.
