How does an A-League club run? What does a day consist of working in the backroom offices of a professional Australian football club? What does the future hold for our game down under at both a professional and grassroots level?
These are questions many of us fans are always intrigued by, so there was no one better than Adelaide United's Football Operations Coordinator, Will Cutts, to take a seat in our studio as we unravel our maiden 'podcast' format on Purebred Reds.
'Cuttsy', who won the 2019 Remo Paris Club Award for his service and loyalty to the club, also breaks down his favourite memories as both a fan and employee at the club such as meeting the Liverpool FC players on their tour in 2015 and celebrating with our players after winning our first ever A-league Championship, working as a liaison officer when GAMBA OSAKA and Jeju United FC visited SA for the 2017 Asian Champions League, why our young talent in SA is as good as anywhere in the country, travelling on interstate trips with the team and much more.
The current Adelaide Victory Football Club Senior Assistant coach to Rick Cerracchio also describes his journey as a young coach rising through the ranks at Adelaide City FC and how responding to an email from United while he was studying at University in 2013 effectively set him up for a long-lasting career in professional sports.
