Every generation has iconic cartoons that set themselves apart from the other children’s shows of their time. We can’t say for sure why some cartoons become far more successful than others. But if based on our thoughts, the thing that really makes them stand out is their ability to make family-friendly comedy that provides just as much enjoyment to the adults as it does to the kids. And that is true for each of the shows in this episode - The Bugs Bunny Show & Animaniacs.
The Bugs Bunny Show (03:28) - At one point just a simple Sunday comic page character, Bugs Bunny has since become one of the most well-known cartoons of all time. With his outrageous reactions and his perfect comedic timing, he finds his way in and out of all kinds of interesting situations.
Animaniacs (29:50) - Despite being trapped in the Warner Bros. water tower for over 60 years, the Warner Siblings have just as much pep in their step as always. But now that they know how to get out of the tower, its just daily chaos for the cast, crew, and employees of the Warner lot.
