Kisapuiston tuorein stadionsuunnitelma ei kelpaa Veikkausliigalle. Liigan toimitusjohtaja Timo Marjamaa kehottaakin kaupunkia säästämään veroeurot, jos stadionia ei kyetä rakentamaan oikeasti UEFA 2 kategorian vaatimusten mukaisesti.
