All year, we've seen athletes use their platform to protest systemic racism in this country. Their protest, by kneeling, has been met with both support and criticism. For this episode, we invited back to the show Portland Thorns' Simone Charley to talk about how she has navigated through her experience in the NWSL's Challenge Cup and her decision to kneel for the anthem. We also discussed why we think there is disunity among Christians about what is or is not considered an "acceptable" way to protest.
