Starring John Cusack and Samuel L Jackson. John Cusack plays horror novelist, Mike Enslin, who gets a mysterious invitation to stay a night in The Dolphin Hotel in room 1408. The manager of the hotel, Gerald Olin (Sam Jackson) tries to warn Enslin about the horror of 1408 and pleads with him to reconsider spending the night in that room. Enslin's stubborn persona wins the debate and he spend the night. Insane hallucinations and memories of his past come up and haunt Mike Enslin in room 1408. Directed by Mikael Håfström.
