What's good my peeps for episode 21 of the peoples choice podcast interview section I had the privilege of interviewing Camp Cleveland. Camp Cleveland is a historian, archivist, genealogist, student of middle childhood education, author and an independent hip-hop artist. His first book "The Afro Set is available at https://www.afroset.net/.../the-afro-set-black.... Camp Cleveland has visited over 45 states and 70 countries. He has recorded and performed with musicians in the Netherlands, South Africa, Senegal and several other countries. During his travels he has studied abroad. In 2014 he studied in the Dominican Republic at Universidad Ibroamericana (UNIBE). While in the Dominican Republic, he studied Caribbean diseases, Dominican history and culture. Camp Cleveland has also dedicated several years to working with people who have developmental disabilities and tutoring children. He also participated in fund raisers, food drives and back to school give a way's for people in need in Cleveland, Haiti, Philippines, Cape Verde and other countries. Each year Camp takes groups of adults, middle school, high school, and college students on educational tours to Africa. We cover this & much more in our interview.
