Description

Jo Chapple is an experienced and enthusiastic Musculoskeletal and Women’s Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. For over twenty years she has been resolutely committed to making a real and meaningful difference through her work, with the spirit of empowerment embedded in her style.  These values were established early in her career. When working in the NHS in the UK Jo became fascinated in the disparity between common popular beliefs (around health, movement and pain) versus what the evidence base suggests. From these beginnings Jo’s appreciation of a biopsychosocial approach grew. From public to private sector work, from the UK to Ireland where she later settled, Jo eventually set up her own Physiotherapy clinic in 2009. Jo’s specialist areas of interest include pain (especially back pain and pelvic girdle pain), pre- and postnatal Physiotherapy and women’s pelvic health. In 2019 Jo began her work as an educator and teaching assistant with Antony Lo and is increasingly involved in the mentorship of other Physiotherapists and fitness professionals.  She is enthusiastic about sport, exercise and fitness. She is a qualified Pilates instructor, but also enjoys running, CrossFit, yoga and climbing and messing around with her three kids.
