Well on her way to claim her first Jockey’s Premiership Danielle Johnson is enjoying a star-studded season that has seen her celebrate a four-figure milestone off the back of a recent feat in the Group 1 New Zealand Breeder’s Stakes aboard the gutsy mare Avantage. Having caught the insatiable ‘racing bug’ at an early age, a future in the saddle beckoned for Danielle who looks back on her career and the challenges that are faced to become New Zealand’s leading jockey.
