The conversation was a great reminder of what we have control over... in business and in life. External factors are constantly making their presence known in our lives... some more than others - but we always have a choice.
Where are focus goes, our energy flows. There are 2 sides to every coin so whenever we face a challenge, there is always an equal opportunity to rise to the occasion - to see something that was not there before - and make it better.
It's interesting to get the perspective of employees asking about in-person requirements. There are plenty of small businesses that allow and promote remote working, which has its positives and negatives, so it's interesting to hear where Brian strikes the balance. What are the positives? What are the pitfalls? How can we inspire emotion and leadership from behind a screen?!
