Dominique’s Mum didn’t pass away, yet there was still loss to deal with after she left the family to start a new life.
Dominique talks about how she grieved this loss and how, with the help of her husband acting as ‘UN Peacekeeper”, she is working on rebuilding her relationship with her Mum for the sake of her young children.
Unsurprisingly, we also talk cats, me making people feel awkward about death and the time I called Dominique “Dom” in front of a client (never again!).
