About Shanta
The beautiful and talented enigma is here to leave an indelible mark in the sphere of ''Faith-based" Pop music. Soulfully-sweet vocals, honest lyrical sentiments, blended with passion and delicacy for a series of uniquely scene-setting, poetic releases sets New York City native; Shanta Fuentes apart from many. Her affinity for music was imprinted as early as age 6 , when she first began performing. Inspired by icons such as; MJ, Janet, Aaliyah, Cyndi Lauper, Pat Benatar, Amel Larriuex, Alicia Keys, No Doubt, George Clinton, Pink, and B’jörk . 2017 marked the beginning of a new chapter in life and in Faith for the songstress. Her debut single "In A New Way" introduced her to the Contemporary Christian Music scene. She later started her own record label; Santofinity Music, in 2020. From then on this mother of 3, entrepreneur and indie gem released a plethora of well received original singles, an EP (Desert Rose) and an album (Blissful Awakening).
With a signature sound that embodies a skillful blend of Pop, EDM, Gospel and RnB genres , Shanta is truly versatile, eclectic in style and firmly grounded in Christ-centered principals, messaging and humanitarian advocacy. Drawing from her own personal life experiences and fueled by the desire to love and help others, Shanta makes music that uplifts, heals and connects the core of our souls with substance and purpose.
