Some people wonder what I mean when I say "Muay Thai Ranking System"
The World Thai Boxing Association, Founded by Surachai Sirisute in 1968, has been making moves recently to get its affiliates (Like My father, who is a full instructor) to teach their students not only the techniques but the culture as well.
Traditionally there is no ranking system for Muay Thai but as a way to show your lineage and achieve milestones in your training, the ranking system I mention was created with an Academy-Learning style in mind.
