God's love is not merely unconditional, it is very passionate and self-giving.
God loves us very passionately with full of emotions.
We don't usually think of God's love as such.
God continues to reveal this mystery through the Mystics.
St. Catherine of Siena (1347-1380) has been one of them.
Mystical experiences are beyond any human language.
They use everyday examples to express this reality.
St. Catherine says,
“The soul is in God
and God in the soul,
just as the fish is in the sea
and the sea in the fish.”
आत्मा ईश्वर में है
और ईश्वर आत्मा में,
बिल्कुल जैसे मछली समुद्र में है
और समुद्र मछली में।
It is nothing new or contrary to the Bible.
Jesus said,
तुम मुझ में रहो और मैं तुम में रहूँगा।
जिस तरह दाखलता में रहे बिना डाली स्वयं नहीं फल सकती,
उसी तरह मुझ में रहे बिना तुम भी नहीं फल सकते। (योहन 15:4)
Abide in me as I abide in you. (John 15:4)
Let's respond positively to the invitation of God to be united with Him as branches to the vine.
