The Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, is our Mother. Jesus, dying on the Cross, gave her to be our Mother.
To know the importance of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Christian Life, we need to understand the concepts of:
1) Christian
2) Church
Without the context, we cannot really realise the importance of a person or a thing, etc.
Having understood the context, one is in a position to understand the importance of the Blessed Virgin Mary in one's journey of Christian Life.
Jesus gave His loving Mother to the Disciple whom He loved.
Does Jesus love YOU enough and trust YOU enough to give His Mother to YOU?
Without Mary, one cannot get to Her Son, Jesus Christ!
If you want to go to Jesus, take the Blessed Virgin Mary along with you.
