Friends and best friends are decided by the amount of time one spends with the other. Communication is the backbone of any relationship. If one stops communicating with the other, the relationship will have a natural death. Communication is 30% verbal and 70 non-verbal.
Similarly, do you have a relationship with God? Can you have a relationship with God without prayer? Do you pray? What is prayer?
In simple words, prayer is a dialogue with God.
Dialogue has to have both listening AND speaking. Listening goes before speaking. God initiates the dialogue.
The backbone and Lifeline of our relationship with God is PRAYER.
The process of prayer:
- Being in the presence of God
- Dialogue with Him
- Listen to Him
- Speak to Him
Prayer is like the PASSWORD of WIFI which is essential to connect to the unlimited data available.
Prayer also the WIRE that connects a ceiling fan with the switch. Without the connecting wire, the fan cannot get the unlimited current available to be functional.
