There’s an inherent romanticism to being a touring artist on the road, but my guest, Mary Scholz, and I know that there’s a lot of ups and downs to that life. Mary is a singer/songwriter, a multi-instrumentalist, and a great friend. She has been putting out great music for many years, and she just released a new EP called Lonesome in conjunction with signing to her new label. Mary and I get into the isolation and freedom of traveling solo, making authentic and genuine connections with other people, and how reframing your failures as part of the path forward can be liberating and inspiring.
