Cedric Blackwell's father was murdered when he was 5 years old, and his mother became a single mom left to care for her children alone. Doing her best and working two jobs just to survive there were still times where there wasn't any food to eat. So Cedric was forced to become a man at a very young age to provide and the only option that he knew was the streets. Being in the streets it wasn't before long then he had a family and decided to get out to do what was right because his situation had changed. On this journey he had his own Tupac story so to speak and it wasn't easy. Now Cedric Facilitates meetings to help other Black Males make that same transition in their everyday lifestyle while being an artist in the city of Charlotte.
