Mark 11:20-24
Have Faith in God
This is one of the most misunderstood texts by many Christians.
Context guides us in how to understand a section of Scripture.
Have faith in God: we have to be in tune with God and His will.
Jesus did not curse the fig tree just on a whim. It was to picture Israel’s judgment.
Most of God’s miracles are to picture His master plan.
1. We can have faith that God’s judgments will be carried out.
2. We can have faith that God can accomplish whatever He wills.
God uses His servants to accomplish His will, but that servant has to believe that He can.
1 John 5:14-15 - We have to pray according to the will of God.
