Six Ways Christians Are To Be Involved In The Government

Christians need to be involved in these six ways to bring a godly influence into government that is God’s system.
1. Obey the laws of the land
It is a good testimony for Christians when we obey the law.
2. Pay our taxes
“pay taxes to whom taxes are due” even if they might be excessive.
3. Participate in voting
In our country, we have the privilege of electing our officials
4. Pray for our elected officials
We are to pray that they will either do what is right or be saved

5. Communicate with our elected officials
We need to participate in the system
6. Serve in the government
Our government was set up to be “of the people, by the people, for the people”.
