The Doctrine of Man and Sin, Part 5
God saved us so that we could die to sin.
Until we figure out the dynamics of dealing with sin, we will have continual defeat.
The formula - If you set your mind on the things of the flesh, you’re going to live according to the flesh. If you set your mind on the things of the Spirit, you’re going to live according the the spirit.
Romans 6 - The life of a Christian: dying to sin
Romans 7 - We can’t deal with sin on our own
If we become weak in our spirit, the flesh is always there waiting for us.
We should never underestimate sin.
