The Question of the Authority of Jesus
The priests bring up a very important question, but they are on the wrong side of the answer.
The priests’ real authority was their popularity with the people.
In the end, God will examine our life to see if we submitted to His authority, or tried to run our own life.
We don’t own ourselves. God is the one who made us, keeps us alive every day, and gives us breath to breathe. He’s the authority.
