Description

Join Colleen "Cole" Welch LIVE on Merrimack Valley Prevention And Substance Abuse Facebook page for a powerful episode of  The Empty Chair, with two Amazing Guests! William S. & Brittney G.

William went through 10 years of drinking alcohol and using substances from the age of 14 until he got sober at 23. In the beginning, his drinking brought much fun but eventually began to interrupt with the things he loved the most, his family, friends and playing baseball and hockey.

William spent time in and out detoxes, halfway houses, and Section 35’s.  After many failed attempts, William found recovery through the Guild House for Men and has been carrying a message of hope to those that struggle.  Since 2003 he has been working the program and created a life second to none by getting married and raising 3 kids!

Brittany is a woman in recovery.  She will share her experience strength and hope in recovery and how her passion for those in the industry grew from helping one person in recovery to helping many, growing staff, and creating programs while never losing sight of her primary purpose which is to stay clean and sober and help another achieve sobriety.

Tune in for an amazing testimony of how our messes can and do become our MESSAGE and help others on their journey in Recovery.
