This week on the show, we meet professional session guitarist and lecturer. Steve Down. Steve has performed with a multitude of high profile musicians such as Jeff Beck, Joss Stone. Beverley Knight, Mica Paris, Nitin Sawhney, Joselyn Brown, Lamar, Incognito, Lack of Afro and Keith Emerson to name a few. As a consequence, Steve has played in some of the worlds most prestigious venues, including Wembley stadium and the Royal Albert Hall.
Co-running the successful 'Bill Ding and the Sky Scrapers and having a huge passion for education, Steve also teaches online from his home studio, crafting You Tube lessons and sharing his tips, advice and playing technique with anyone who has a passion for Guitar. When not on tour or in session, Steve teaches in many schools and colleges around the south west UK and also lectures at the Academy of Music and Sound, where he leads the Shaun Baxter guitar course and gives lectures on Music Theory and Music History.
