This week on the show, I speak with fellow Synesthete, artist and performer, Jodie Elms. Jodie's extraordinary music career has seen her play The Royal Albert hall with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Playing Live 8 in Paris, achieve a number one hit single in Italy and the MTV music awards with Marc Cerrone in the Palace of Versailles to 100,000 People. After Covid hit the country and Jodie could no longer travel for work, she turned her attention towards her artistic talent and began painting her synasthetic experiences of seeing music in colour and shape and replicating them onto canvas. On doing so, she was instantly commissioned to produce the single cover for Elliot Kennedy's (songwriter for Aretha Franklin, Brian Adams and Shania Twain) new song 'when love breaks down'. Jodie is now producing phenomenal and original art pieces for commission alongside creating an original album to accompany her latest pieces
on the show, we talk about our mutual experiences with the phenomena of Synasthesia, the challenges one faces when choosing to live an authentic life and of course, Jodie's Brave Moment.
