Jac Cron and Jewell Sparks discuss her short film “House Sit," COVID-19, her mentor, inspiration andher next project. During the film, two women house sit a house in Los Angeles- information about the owners unravel throughout the course of one night.
Jac Cron is an American filmmaker born in New York. She graduated from Drexel University where she studied Finance, Film, and Astrophysics. In 2019, she worked with her now mentor, Drake Doremus on his latest film, Endings, Beginnings. She creates films centered around human connection and the LGBTQ+ community. She explores stories about queer people, not only centered around their sexuality, but their personal experiences parallel to that. Her other interests include writing poetry, film photography, and playing instruments.
