Kevin Briggs (also known as the Guardian of the Golden Gate Bridge) was a California Highway Patrol officer noted for his work in suicide intervention, having dissuaded more than two hundred people from jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco Bay. In 2013, Kevin retired from the California Highway Patrol to focus his efforts on suicide prevention with over 20 years of experience in crisis management and suicide prevention.
