In today's episode, Che spoke to author and entrepreneur Suneel Gupta about his new book "Backable". Suneel has had an eclectic career from law to entrepreneurship; he has held positions from VP at Groupon, Politician to Founder and CEO of Rise; at one point, he was featured in the New York Times in 2014 as the face of failure. Now he is the face of innovation for the New York Stock Exchange. Suneel shared the impact of his father's near-fatal heart attack when he was nine and his mother's determination to be an Engineer in America. In his book "Backable", Suneel shares his philosophy that the key to success is persuading people to take a chance on you and how you help yourself build the courage to defy feelings of embarrassment and self-doubt by practicing seven essential steps. Suneel shares the surprising attributes needed to sell an idea. Some of his projects and ideas have been backed by firms like Google Ventures and Greylock, and he has been an early investor to startups like SpaceX, Airbnb and Calm.
