And in a far-reaching conversation, they explore motherhood as practice, race and the impact of Toni Morrison's work on her perspective on her as a white woman and academic. Professor O'Reilly is continually defining space for the scholarly pursuit of motherhood practices and the value of capturing the stories of the pandemic write now, which is disproportionately impacting women and the family system. She sees the study of motherhood, its labour, intellectual capital, and its process as a sacred human practice that all human beings can learn and do.
