Karnali, Nepal's most remote destination has a lot to tell. The Tajakot village in Humla district, Maila, Nepal, is one of the most isolated. In this week's episode, we visit the Nepalese town of Maila to speak with teenage schoolgirls about their views on menstruation and the traditions associated with it. Even though the school provides free menstrual products like pads, when it comes to menstrual education, the boys are taken out of the classroom and the girls are left alone with the teacher to study. Apparently, teachers believe that only girls need to be taught about their period.
