In this episode of Double E, Elevating Entrepreneurs, Elizabeth Marie interviews Reid Jarreau, an associate licensed professional counselor and nationally certified counselor. She received her master of science degree in Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling from Mercer University in Atlanta, GA. She works as a full time vocational rehabilitation counselor with the state of Texas assisting individuals with disabilities and helping them obtain, maintain or advance in their employment. Reid also works part time as a practicing therapist at the Balancing Place Counseling Practice, where she treats clients who suffer from depression, anxiety, trauma, and also does couple and family therapy. Reid has an extensive background treating adolescents and young adults living with autism spectrum disorder and helping them cope with everyday stressors. Reid also has her own small business called Mental Moments with Reid on Instagram where she shares mental health tips, resources and information for those seeking guidance for mental health every Monday. Elizabeth and Reid touch on all aspects of Reid's extensive background in counseling and mental health throughout the episode.
