Jada Golden visits with Shawn & Brian. She's a dynamic educator from Boston, Massachusetts who has recently established her independent practice here in Los Angeles, Educator at Large, INC, since January 2023. She is a licensed early childhood, ESL, and special educator with nationally certification in dyslexia intervention and parent advocacy. Her first love is classroom teaching but she has chosen to work with private families to support parents and caregivers with the unique needs associated with having a child with learning differences. She began working with students diagnosed with pervasive developmental differences, such as ASD, twenty years ago at Pathways Academy at McLean Hospital in Belmont, Massachusetts and has since worked in Boston Public Schools and in the private school sector in the Bay Area. Now based out of Los Angeles, her current roster of clients are located throughout the country such as Massachusetts, Florida, Chicago, and all of California. Whether she is speaking in teacher preparation programs, parents forums, or working with families to find the perfect school for their child, she is always looking for new opportunities to challenge herself as an educator at large.
