During this Escape From San Francisco Podcast, episode 6. I had the pleasure of interviewing two of the four founding members of Hijas del Campo They are a group of four women who rose to the occasion when farm workers needed help the most due to California wild fires and Covid-19. Due to these circumstances many farm workers have lost work and are not able to get their basic needs met. These ladies have banded together and formed an organization that has been able to meet the needs of many farm workers families in the East Bay. Through their efforts they have been able to supply water, mask, food, toiletries, and many more that helps meet the needs of these farm workers and their families. Your host is Aaron Rodriguez.
