This week during bible study, we discussed the the key role patience plays in our lives. Patience isn't just an attribute that allows us to remain calm when frustration wants to rear its head. It isn't just a virtue that the Lord instills in us allowing to persevere. Patience is the key to removing doubt from our lives. As the bible says in the book of James, "knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience." (NKJV) The more trials we go through in life that the Lord permits, the more our faith can grow producing patience within us. It is this process that is pivotal in us trusting Jesus even more. For the less we try to fabricate a plan for our lives, the more we can just simply trust God. He alone knows the plans for our lives and they are for good and not for evil. So when live gets crazy and you want to worry, be patient and trust God. For when you abide in Him, which is the proactive engagement of His perfect will, then God will take care of the rest.
