"Biblical compassion means that you see the problem, you are moved by the need, and you meet the person where the problem is. Compassion, what do you see when you hear the word? For me I see a person living life with me, doing what is hard, getting in the mud with me and getting dirty... In 2004, Bert and I went through the most difficult time of our life and marriage. For me I did not know how I was going to survive and walk to the other side of grief."
