There are many people that can talk to you about how far a narcissist will go in order to experience a successful hoover. He or she might recruit some of their enablers to play the dysfunctional role of flying monkey to help falicilitate hoovering you back into a third-party relationship(s) and become a source supplier once again. Is it possible to feel haunted by past narcissistic relationships? I'd say it's very possible. It's best to recognize when it's about your strength to thrive forward vs. the narcissist strong sense of entitlement! This might feel like a difficult challenge that's impossible to overcome. Narcissists often will keep a person focus on the past for the wrong reasons, rather than becoming open to meet him or her where they are presently. Stay focused on your strength and resiliance to continue to thrive forward if you are experiencing your narcissist attempting to hoover you back in, or you feel the past narcissistic relationship creeping back up.
