How does one recognize the perfect polarity that occurs in narcissistic relationships? First, know who and what you're dealing with. Secondly, take off the rose-colored glasses which will help clarify contradictions, falsehood and manipulative tactics that fuel narcissistic relationships. Lastly, accept that you're perhaps the one who is changing, while facing the reality that the narcissist might not ever change. It is when the narcissist wants all of the smoke and turns up on the demon time, that others who are emotionally involved might come to realize that as much as they're capable of love the narcissist is capable of contempt. One person is taking and the other is giving too much! One needs to learn how to love self and the other needs to learn how to love others. Peace, harmony and love are not possible in such a hostile environment, but the perfect polarity in the narcissist relationship seems to flourish.
