Ever wonder why it seems to take a lot of effort to overcome narcissistic abuse, while it seems that the narcissist doesn't suffer at all?  There are spiritual, physical and psychological discomforts of experiencing narcissist relationships.  One of the main reasons why is because the body remembers all experiences, regardless of our efforts to forget.  Some have unfortunately due to adverse childhood experiences succumb to various health issues from post traumatic stress syndrome, diabetes to chronic body aches.  Fear and forgiveness are two dynamics that seem to be the most challenging for those who have had narcissist relationships for long periods of time.  The best signs that you are done with the narcissist is to choose to thrive forward.
