Hey there. We apologize for the last-minute change but we were unable to get together with our special guest for "Tuck Everlasting" due to snow, but we have this super-special-secret episode for you guys that we recorded back in the Summer season. It's a commentary track where Jacob and KC sit down to take in one of the first of the live-action adaptations of Disney's animated classics: "101 DALMATIONS" starring Glenn Close as the infamous Cruella DeVil.
The story was slightly updated and portrays Roger as a video game designer who has yet to create the perfect villain character and Anita is a British fashion designer working for the perfect villainous archetype, her colleague Cruella. But this isn't just about the humans, no we follow the lives of Pongo and Perdita who are two adorable Dalmations who have a darling litter of 15 that quickly expands to 101 when they find themselves being hunted by Cruella herself.
It's definitely an adjustment, not hearing the animals talk as we are used to. One thing is certain; these dogs have a bit more expression than the CGI lions in the recent adaptation of "THE LION KING." Just saying.
