Recently acquired through that good ol' Fox Merger, Disney presents: "EVER AFTER" a Cinderella Story. You've never experienced the story of a the poor girl who goes from rags to riches quite like this.
Starring Drew Barrymore and Anjelica Houston, set in the Renaissance Era, we are treated to the familiar tale of a sweet girl named Danielle who loses her father at a young age and is raised in servitude by her evil step-mother and two step-sisters. After a chance encounter with the rebellious and charming Prince Henry, Danielle is given the opportunity to realize her dreams and free herself of the cruelty and toxicity of her family. Not only is Danielle kind but she is also strong and quite progressive and well-educated. This is a princess story that, like Danielle, is ahead of it's time and has plenty of entertainment for Disney and non-Disney fans alike.
