This week we watched the out of this world, outrageous comedy "My Favorite Martian" starring everybody's favorite creepy uncle: Christopher Lloyd.
A Martian crash-lands on Earth and must try to remain incognito long enough to repair his ship and return home without being discovered. The Martian, played by Lloyd, who is very convincing as a visitor from another planet, seeks shelter with a hapless but caring Broadcast News Producer, played by Jeff Daniels, the Dumb half of Dumb and Dumber. What follows is a series of convoluted events all set in a modern enough looking world but with people behaving with the sexist, regressive behaviors of the 1960's. It is quite possibly one of the most un-Disney Disney movies ever made, but it was a trip to experience, that's for sure.
It's time to vote for what we will be watching and reviewing next week.

A SIMPLE WISH - Starring Mara Wilson, from Matilda, who plays a little girl who wishes for her Father to secure the big part on Broadway he is pining for, a simple enough wish, but when you have a fairy godmother like Murray, played by comedy legend Martin Short, things tend to go from simple to seriously out of hand.
TOOTHLESS - Starring Kirstie Alley as a Tooth-Fairy in training who decides to use her fairy abilities to connect with the neighborhood kids and help them out while they also help her learn to live a little and let people in.
