In honor of the holiday, we watched a more bearable American History movie that doesn't beat you over the head with patriotism...instead you are treated to a couple hours of a slightly more reserved, but no less lovable, Nicolas Cage, who is the real national treasure here. Jacob was treated to this movie for the first time and we had lots to discuss in this action-adventure Disney movie. Nicolas Cage stars as Ben Gates, a historian with a family legacy of strange conspiracy theories and treasure hunting. Ben uncovers the location of a treasure that the world believed to be lost to all. Along for the ride are a beautiful Diane Kruger and...Riley...the tech guy...a character we have mixed feelings about.
