We are messing with the order of things a little bit this week. We still have one more Aladdin movie to get to which will be posted on Saturday, but, we felt that, given the current circumstances and the current events that are shaping our reality, we thought we'd skip to a more relevant Disney Animated Sequel: "The Lion King II: Simba's Pride" We are back in the Pride Lands. Simba has an eager and adventurous daughter named Kiara who tries to become friends with an Outlander lion named Kovu, who has been seasoned to take the throne back from Simba. This movie very much lives up to its predecessor with only a few weird moments. Featuring a spectacular soundtrack and all our favorite characters, this was a lot of fun to rewatch. It's a story about acceptance, something we can all get on board with.
